Notably, PO fit directly influences OCB and is not mediated by organisational commitment. The study also highlights that PO fit and organisational commitment have a stronger impact on OCB directed at the organization (OCBO) compared to OCB directed at individuals (OCBI), supporting the concept of 'target similarity effects'.
